How It's Made: We pour all of our small-batch candles in Door County, WI using a natural coconut soy wax blend, premium fragrance oils, and wooden wicks.
We Care about You & the Environment: Our candles are phthalate-free, dye-free, cruelty-free, and conform to all IFRA standards for purity and safety. Our wooden wicks are sustainably harvested. We select cork and bamboo lids for our glass jars because both are renewable and biodegradable.
The Burn: Your wooden wick candle will crackle lightly, creating a cozy & beautifully scented space.
Trim your candle wick before the first burn, and prior to lighting each time. Wooden wicks perform best when trimmed short to 1/8" (3mm)
When lighting for the first time, let your candle burn approximately 3-4 hours, or until the wax almost reaches the edges of the vessel. This will create a wax pool that performs well throughout the life of the candle.
Excessive flames, black smoke, or soot are the result of wicks that are too long. For the best burn, extinguish and allow the wax to cool, trim the wick slightly, and relight. Drafts can also cause a candle to produce soot. Trim your wicks and keep your candle away from drafts and vents to prevent black smoke, soot, and an uneven burn.
Safety: Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep your candle within your sight and do not leave it unattended. Make sure to burn your candle on a heat-safe surface, in a well-ventilated area, and out of reach of children and pets. Keep candle away from drafts and vents.
